Reportedly, over 500 million of Facebook users’ personal information were breached recently. Apparently, these information included users’ full names, birthdays, contact numbers and their location.
According to Facebook, this leak stems from an issue in 2019, which has since been fixed, but the leaked data are still there. Unfortunately, my personal account information was included in the breach. The reason I know this, is because there is a website that allows you to check your Facebook account whether its data has leaked or not.
The website Have I Been Pwned lets you to put in your email address that is associated with your Facebook account, and check if your Facebook account was pawned.
